Dr Sam Rooke

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc))

Sam is originally from Casterton (the home of the Kelpie) in Victoria’s south-west.  His university studies were undertaken at the Universities of Adelaide and Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science from Melbourne in 2003.

Sam has worked in mixed practice in the Macedon Ranges and has spent time in various practices in England & throughout Melbourne. He has developed a special interest in, and completed further studies in, surgery.

When not at work, Sam likes nothing more than to spend time with his family and friends. He also likes gardening, tending to his farm animals as well as watching football and enjoying a good glass of wine.

Sam is married to Dr Nicole, and they have two daughters, as well as a cheeky Kelpie called Poppy.


Dr Nicole Santucci

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Science with Honors (BSc(hons)), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc))

Nicole graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 & has been practising as a small animal vet since.

Having worked in Melbourne and England in small animal practices, Nicole has also managed the health and well-being of hundreds of dogs within the Border Force Breeding program. She has a special interest in working up medical cases with a focus on providing clients with clear goals and options for their pets optimal health and care.

Married to Dr Sam, they enjoy life on the farm with their 2 daughters, Poppy the Kelpie, a llama, a coop of chickens and lots of sheep and goats.

Nicole loves coffee, a good chat, and cuddling anything that will let her!


Dr Ebonnie Forster

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Biology, (BVetBiol), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc))

Ebonnie grew up near Colac in south-west Victoria and completed her veterinary degree at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga NSW.

Ebonnie has a special interest in preventative medicine, particularly dentistry. 

In her spare time Ebonnie enjoys walking with her dog Ollie, and spending time with friends and family.

 


Dr Chanel Samo

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Science (BSc), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM))

Chanel graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2020 and is pursuing her career as a small animal medicine veterinarian. A familiar face, Chanel has been a part of the Greenvale team since 2019. She has a special interest in surgery.

In her spare time, Chanel enjoys going to the gym and loves cuddles with all animals..... great or small!

Dr Sarah WIlde

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Science (BSc), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM))

Sarah graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2019 and has worked in Small Animal Practice ever since. She has worked in General Practice clinics and most recently worked in Emergency and Critical Care.

Sarah has a keen interest in Small Animal Medicine and is looking to develop her skills in ultrasonography & echocardiography.

Sarah lives locally with her partner and their rescue staffy Kobe. She enjoys body fit training, running, skiing, doing up her garden, spending time with family and friends, and her beloved Essendon bombers.

 


Dr Deborah Phillips

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Science (BSc), Masters of Agricultural Science (MAgrSc), Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM))

Deborah graduated from the University of Melbourne at the end of 2022. She has a special interest in internal medicine and dentistry.

Deborah enjoys spending her free time with her partner and friends playing board games and discovering new nerdy activities.


Dr Georgia Cullingford

Veterinarian (Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (BVetBiol), Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc))

Georgia grew up in Newcastle, NSW and recently moved to Melbourne after graduating from CSU in Wagga Wagga, 2023. She is keen to pursue a career in small animal medicine, with a budding special interest in behaviour.

Outside of work you’ll find her training her kelpie Heidi, at the gym, or going on camping adventures with her partner (Heidi comes along too of course!).


Dr Claire Jenkins

Veterinarian (Bachelor Of Veterinary Science (BVSc))

Claire is a QLD graduate with over 15 years experience as a neighbourhood Veterinarian in Australia and the UK. She has membership in the Australian and NZ college of Veterinary Scientists for Small animal medicine.

An animal lover and the founder of VetChat, born from a passion to help pet carers access trusted advice earlier, for healthier, happier pets.

Grateful to be carer to a Poodle called Rex and a Birman named Rosie. 


Laura

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing)

Laura originally joined Greenvale Animal Hospital in 2016. After exploring the world of emergency nursing, Laura has rejoined the team bringing her wealth of knowledge with her. 

Laura shares her home with her fiancee, her son, and her cheeky black labrador Nellie. 


Angelica

Veterinary Nurse (Bachelor of Science (BSc))

Angelica joined the Greenvale Animal Hospital team in 2021 after graduating with a Bachelor of Science and is nearing completion of her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing through Box Hill Institute.

In her spare time, Ange loves going on road trips with her friends, family and cheeky Labrador, Jax. Chatty Galah Bandit is also part of her fur and feather family. 


Shana

Veterinary Nurse (Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing)

Shana joined the team in 2021 and has recently completed her Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing at La Trobe University. 

When not spending time with her 2 cats and 3 dogs, Shana enjoys going on hikes and going to the gym. 


AJ

Veterinary Nurse (Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing)

AJ joined the GAH team in 2023 and is currently undertaking her final year of a Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing at La Trobe University.

In her spare time she enjoys going for hikes with her Border Collie Buddy, spending time with family and friends, as well as travelling.


Jess

Veterinary Nurse (Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (BVetBiol), Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing)

Jess is a returning nurse who joined us during her 2022 placement and is back in 2024 after earning her Associate Degree in Veterinary Nursing from La Trobe University.

Off-duty, Jess is a proud pet parent to Mischa, Luna and Stella. She's a foodie at heart, always eager to try new cuisines, cook and loves to stay active with walks, going to the gym and enjoys going to the snow.


Jade

Veterinary Nurse (Cert IV Veterinary Nursing, Diploma in General Veterinary Nursing)

Jade has 22 years of Veterinary nursing experience! 

She has a certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing as well as a Diploma in General Veterinary Nursing.

Her special interests in nursing include; small animal surgery and anaesthetics, patient care and breeding and reproduction.

Jade is busy with four children and a husband, and in her spare time breeds Staffy's and Minature Lop rabbits.

 


Breanna

Trainee Veterinary Nurse (Cert III in Animal Care)

Breanna joined the team mid 2024. She is currently studying cert III in Animal Care and will be studying cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2025.

Breanna was previously a professional tennis player and in her spare time loves coaching tennis at our local club in Greenvale and having a hit out on the court any chance she gets.

She also doesn't go anywhere without her cavoodle Ollie!


Rhesha

Receptionist

An aspiring veterinarian, Rhesha is currently studying the Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Biosciences at La Trobe University.

When not spending time with her beloved cat Nala, Rhesha enjoys reading, going to the gym and hanging out with her church friends.
